James hits the Pop Charts and Nominated for an ARIA

After 20 weeks at # 1 in the ARIA Jazz Charts, In Good Company entered the ARIA Album Charts at #90. James’s latest release is with jazz great Don Burrows and Thirsty Merc star Phil Stack.  Rarely does a jazz album feature in this list among the other R’n’B, Pop and Rock contenders but it’s just one more achievement for this world star. “Jazz really is the people’s music” James says. “When great artists come together and make great music, everybody responds”. Although unconfirmed, In Good Company’s producers believe at 88, Don Burrows could be the oldest performer to ever feature in the ARIA Album Charts. In Good Company received a 2016 ARIA Nomination for Best Jazz Album making it James’s 7th ARIA nomination in the category.
