MORRISON'S STUDIO
A studio designed by musicians, for musicians....
Morrison's Studio is located in Sydney's Northern Beaches and offer’s everything you need to realise the true potential of your studio project. Great people, quality equipment, good vibes create great sound.
We can assist you with all aspects of your audio project, from a simple tune right through to a full production album ready for duplication. Recording, mixing, mastering and even audio restoration. We have it all covered.
Piano Room
4 metres x 3.5 metres
This room was designed for our Yamaha concert grand piano.
We’ve found that in most studios the piano lives in the main room, meaning that a tremendous amount of ‘spill’ from horns, guitar amps etc. gets into the piano mikes - usually ending up with the piano being ‘bagged’ (covered with heavy damping material). This totally defeats the purpose of having a magnificent, full-sized acoustic instrument that was made to ‘fill’ a room.
Our solution is this purpose-built room that will accommodate the piano facing any direction the player wishes. If you would rather the piano was in the main studio, we have a unique ‘piano hatch’ that allows the instrument to be moved between rooms in under 5 minutes.
There are windows into the main studio and drum room - all rooms can also be viewed on the LCD monitor.
Drum Room
A relatively dry room with controlled bottom end and just enough reverb to get that ‘fat’ drum sound.

Vocal Booth
Upstairs right beside the control room, the vocal booth has convenient direct access to the engineer / producer. This can save a lot of time when overdubbing or doing voice overs.
The rest of the band can be easily seen on the LCD monitor and of course they can see you too!
