Sydney Opera House presents its first public performance post-COVID

Audiences returned to the Sydney Opera House on Sunday for a celebration of jazz icon Don Burrows. The Drama Theatre reopens this week with STC’s Rules for Living.

The Sydney Opera House gave its first public performance last night with Don Burrows: A Celebration of Life Through Jazz in the Joan Sutherland Theatre. The special tribute concert to the Australian jazz icon, who died in March, was organised by James Morrisonwho was mentored by Burrows and became a lifelong friend.
